Daunorubicin

Daunorubicin is an anthracycline cytotoxic antibiotic produced by a Streptomyces coeruleorubidus. It intercalates into DNA and induces DNA damage such as fragmentation and single-strand breaks. It is commonly used to treat specific types of leukaemia, notably acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphocytic leukemia.

Dasatinib

Dasatinib is a dual Src/Abl kinase inhibitor with potent antitumor activity. In addition to inhibiting the wild-type BCR-ABL, dasatinib inhibited 14 of 15 BCR-ABL mutants. It is a potent inhibitor of all members of the Src family, including c-Src, Lck, Fyn, and Yes (IC50 < 1.1 nmol/L).

Dinacliclib

Dinacliclib inhibits CDK2, CDK5, CDK1, and CDK9 activity in vitro with IC50 values of 1, 1, 3, and 4 nmol/L, respectively. In cell-based assays, it completely suppressed pRB phosphorylation, blocked cellular replication, and induced apoptosis. Dinacliclib induced regression of established solid tumors in a range of mouse models following intermittent scheduling of doses below the maximally tolerated level.

Docetaxel

Docetaxel is a semi-synthetic taxane used clinically for the treatment of breast, ovarian, and non-small cell lung cancer. It binds to tubulin and stabilizes the microtubular cytoskeleton, thereby inhibiting microtubule dynamics. This causes cell cycle arrest during mitosis and subsequent cell death. The mean IC50 for docetaxel observed on the NCI60 panel was 23 nM.
