Erlotinib Hydrochloride

Erlotinib is a low molecular weight, orally active, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (IC50 = 2 nmol/L). Inhibition of the EGFR tyrosine kinase disrupts of processes involved in cancer growth and development, including cell migration, proliferation, angiogenesis, and apoptosis. Erlotinib is used clinically for the treatment of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
